Appealing, eye-catching packaging is decisive when it comes to convincing critical consumers to purchase a product. Packaging made from composite film should also have an appetizing, tempting appearance at the point of sale. For this purpose, we keep numerous types of composite films in stock, such as our flexible, co-extruded PET/PA/EP medium barrier composite films which guarantee your products an impressive look. Eleven layers of polyamide and polyethylene film are finished with a high-gloss polyester outer layer (PET), allowing an unclouded view of your products and giving them an additional shine. Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is a thermoplastic belonging to the polyester family. Its wide range of applications is owed to its excellent machinability and ease of processing. This particular, highly transparent film not only ensures optimum product presentation, but also safety due to its outstanding puncture resistance.
Highly transparent packaging for ham
Equally high transparency and puncture resistance is provided by our flexible, co-extruded PA/PP/PA/PE medium barrier composite film, which combines polyamide and polyethylene with a third component, the polypropylene (PP). This thermoplastic, semi-crystalline and non-polar plastic features similar properties to polyethylene, but is harder and more heat-resistant. It is mostly used for packaging smoked, air-dried ham or spare ribs. Even deep-frozen products remain reliably protected and offer a highly transparent appearance at the point of sale.
