On October 1, Thomas Piwowarsky, an experienced industry expert, assumed the position of CEO and Managing Director of allfogroup, headquartered in Waltenhofen. Piwowarsky has been active in the plastic packaging industry for many years and has extensive experience in the management and development of internationally active companies. This is complemented by extensive sales experience, technological expertise, and a keen understanding of customer needs and market requirements.
“I’m looking forward to my new role at allfogroup and hope to help drive the company forward together with the team,” says Thomas Piwowarsky. For over 25 years, he has achieved success as a business leader in the plastics, packaging, medical, and specialty film industries. This means that allfogroup, the specialist in packaging solutions, now has another expert at the helm.
Years of Experience as a Business Leader in the Plastic Packaging Industry
Throughout his career, he has held various leadership positions at the plastics manufacturer Klöckner Pentaplast as well as at Liveo Research, a leading global provider of pharmaceutical packaging solutions. His focus is on sales, market and customer orientation, and strategic corporate development—always combined with in-depth technological expertise. “When we have a precise understanding of market requirements and, at the same time, know what is technically possible, we develop solutions that offer real added value for our customers,” explains Piwowarsky.
Thomas Piwowarsky Takes Over as CEO of allfogroup
As CEO, Piwowarsky will be responsible for sales, marketing, human resources, and strategy, as well as the associated business tasks and decisions. Together with Dr. Andreas S. Gasse, he will form the executive management team of allfogroup, which includes allfo, allvac, and brevac. Dr. Gasse is responsible for production, engineering, and logistics, as well as procurement and research & development. This ensures a clear division of responsibilities within the executive management team.
Hans Bresele Remains Closely Tied to allfogroup
Following his tenure as managing director, Hans Bresele will focus on his roles as chairman of the advisory board and shareholder of allfogroup. As the successor to the company’s founder, he remains closely tied to the group. “Together with the Advisory Board and the managing directors, Mr. Piwowarsky and Dr. Gasse, we will continue to develop the group and strategically expand its business areas. I am looking forward to that,” says Hans Bresele.
